Does Sorveo work with my existing CCTV cameras?
In most cases, yes. Sorveo works with IP cameras and with NVR, DVR and hybrid systems, including Hikvision, Dahua, Axis and ONVIF-compatible equipment. A Sorveo edge appliance is installed at your site and connects to your cameras or recorders. We confirm compatibility for your specific setup before you commit.
Do I need to replace my cameras?
No. Sorveo is designed to add intelligence to the cameras you already have. Some capabilities, such as facial recognition, work best with suitable camera placement and image quality, and we will advise you on this during scoping.
What is the difference between Essential and Professional?
Essential covers one site with AI event detection, live viewing, real-time alerts, camera health and incident history. Professional adds facial recognition, identity watchlists, recognition alerts and history, event video clips for investigation, and unlimited sites with a centralised view across them.
Is facial recognition included in every plan?
No. Facial recognition, identity enrolment and watchlist matching are included in the Professional and Enterprise plans. They are not part of Essential.
Can I monitor multiple locations?
Yes, on Professional and Enterprise, which include unlimited sites. Essential covers one site. A site is a distinct operational location, such as a hotel, campus, warehouse or office; buildings and floors within the same site do not count as separate sites.
How many cameras can I connect?
There is no camera limit set by your plan. You license as many cameras as you need, and per-camera pricing improves at higher volumes.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes. When you upgrade, the additional capabilities and site allowance of your new plan become available once the upgrade takes effect.
Is Sorveo suitable for hotels, schools and manufacturing facilities?
Yes. Sorveo is used across hospitality, education, industrial and manufacturing, logistics, retail, residential estates and the public sector. Single-site organisations often start with Essential; groups and multi-site operators usually choose Professional or Enterprise.
How are alerts delivered?
By WhatsApp and email, on every plan. You choose who receives each type of alert, and each alert includes a snapshot and the camera location so your team can act quickly.
Does Sorveo require internet connectivity?
Yes, each site needs an internet connection to deliver alerts and the Sorveo dashboard. Detection runs on the on-site edge appliance, and events captured while a site is offline are stored and logged when the connection returns.
